Bringing the Community together through the medium of Arts

An artistic View is a intergenerational project that encourages a cultural study of traditions, local history and heritage involving schools and groups within the Treherbert & District through the medium of art. The project will involve demonstrations, workshops and an exhibition of a final work celebrating a production communication. The project will engage partnership with artists, arts organisations, schools and community groups of all ages in participating in self-directing learning by interactive workshops and a final exhibition creating an artistic environment. The aim of the project is to: Working with the community on presenting a cultural study of local heritage and culture Support and develop artistic talent Use art form as an education tool Promote and expression of cultural identity Raise issues of diversity and identity Improve understanding of arts
